Bike
There is a dense network of marked cycle routes along the country, but the number of quality cycle paths is significantly lower than, for example, in neighboring Austria. The most demanding routes lead in the Giant Mountains and the Jeseníky Mountains.
Cross-country skiing
Perhaps the most popular winter activity in the country. If snow falls, cross-country skiing trails spontaneously arise almost everywhere. From an altitude of about 450 meters, the routes are navigable more than two months a year. The most famous area in the country is the Jizera Mountains with its beautifully groomed routes. The most famous race in the country, the Jizera Fifty, is also held here.
