The youngest national park in the Czech Republic

Podyjí National Park is the youngest and smallest national park in the Czech Republic. The Thayatal NP is connected to the Lower Austrian side. It offers a total of 76 km of marked hiking trails. Due to the protection of the unique environment of Podyjí, the most valuable sites are accessible only when accompanied by a guide (forest complex Braitava, which is almost primeval in nature, and especially the best preserved and least affected river valley in the Czech republic – the Dyje canyon
