The castle with the largest collection of dogs
Bítov Castle is located at the beginning of the Vranov Dam and is therefore a tourist destination. According to the findings, the first fortification appeared here as early as 8–9. century. During the time of the Přemyslids, the castle became an impregnable fortress. In its history, the castle has changed several owners. The last owners were the Haas family, who became famous for their love of game and especially dogs. There is the largest collection of stuffed dogs in the world.
