City of wine over the Dyje river
Znojmo is the second largest city in the South Moravian Region and the historic center of southwestern Moravia. It is located on the left bank of the Dyje River, 65 km southwest of Brno and 83 km northwest of Vienna. The border with Austria runs eight kilometers from the city. The city has a rich history and there are many architectural and technical monuments. It is renowned for producing great wines and Znojmo vintage is one of the most popular events in the region.
