China has the two highest peaks of the world as Mount Everest on the border with Nepal and K2 on the border with Pakistan. Not only because this among to the most mountainous countries in the world.

All three of Asia's longest rivers flow through China. The longest is Yangtze (Blue River), which with its 6,300 kilometers in length is the third longest in the world (after the Amazon and the Nile). The second longest river is the Yellow River with 5,464 kilometers of length. The third longest river is the Mekong – the most important river in Southeast Asia. It is approximately 4,350 kilometer­s long.
