Lijiang is a wonderfully well-preserved ancient Chinese city on the border of Tibet, imbued with the culture of the Tibetan ethnic group Naxi. The journey along the 800-year-old bridges and along the water canals of the old town is like a journey back in time to the reign of the Mu family.
