Area Jizera mountains

Jizera Mountains are forested plateau grooved with flat ridges reaching only slightly over thousand meters above sea level. They are infamously known for its harsh rainy weather with the largest rainfall throughout Europe. But even so, there are a lot of wonderful days, when the cyclists enjoy tens of kilometer long trails of various difficulty levels and tourists the views from the tops often crowned with rock formations. The most beautiful places are there picturesque meadows around Jizera and Jizerka rivers. Most popular, however, are in the winter for thousands of skiers enjoying excellent snow conditions and the wonderfully maintained trails.
