Trek in Upper Mustang
Forbidden kingdom
Trek in Upper Mustang takes you into the landscape of the upland plateau at an altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level. The entire area had until recently a partial autonomy, which was canceled in 2008. But the access is still regulated by the need to obtain (and pay for) the entry permit and have the Nepalese guide. Upper Mustang is located around the river Kali Gandaki. On its banks are even today many wonderful fossils of plants and animals. The views of Himalayan peaks dominated with the ridge of Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri will accompany you throughout the entire trek. And Buddhist monasteries and buildings give the whole journey a pleasant spiritual dimension. continue reading
Trek through Mugu Himal to Dolpa
Or how to walk 333km in 23 days and climb 25km
We went on a trek in November 2015, after a devastating earthquake. The route led through MUGU HIMAL, around Lake RARA, to the kingdom of DOLPO, a visit to SHEY GOMPY, around Crystal Mountain and back around Lake PHOKSUNDO. A total of 333 kilometers, a total elevation gain of 25 kilometers in 23 days. There were eight of us trekkers, 10 Nepalese porters, a guide and a cook. Our group carried everything with them, from tents, stoves, fuel and especially food. The trek began with a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgnj and the following day a flight to Jumla. continue reading
Manaslu Circuit trek + Tsum Valley
19-day trek around Manasl
From all the beautiful treks in Nepal, we chose the circuit around Manaslu 8 163m (Ghost Mountains and the eighth highest mountain in the world), which lies in a less visited tourist area, until recently banned border area with Tibet. The road is geographically beautiful and culturally fascinating. The inhabitants of the upper Buri Gandaki are direct descendants of Tibetan immigrants who settled here in the early 17th century. Thanks to that, the language, clothes and customs are exclusively Tibetan. The pearl of the trek is a five-day visit to Tsum Valley – a valley opened since 2010. We went to the trek at the end of October to mid-November and the weather was absolutely luxurious. continue reading

The trek leads through the Langtang Khola river valley and from the lush vegetation it takes you to the alpine landscape of ice peaks and weathered hills. There are plenty of loggias along the way, so you don't have to lug camping equipment with you continue reading
