The Wimbachklamm gorge is accessible from Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden. It is open from 1 May to 1 November from 7 am to 7 pm The starting point is the car park at Wimbachbrucke (634 m above sea level). The journey from the car park to the gorge takes about 20 minutes. Entry tokens can be purchased at a vending machine located about 300 meters before entering the gorge at a pleasant pub with a homemade cheese and souvenir shop. Entry is only one way!
