Entrance gate to the Giant Mountains

Vrchlabí is often called the gateway to the Giant Mountains. No wonder, it is located exactly where the Elbe leaves the Krkonoše National Park. It is a city full of historical monuments, including a beautiful castle and at the same time a starting point for a number of nice hiking tours

An absolute oasis is the castle park with a nice lake, where you escape the hustle and bustle of the city

Monastery of the footed Augustinians
From the castle park you can comfortably get to another local monument – the monastery of the Augustinians

Vrchlabí
It is only a short walk from the monastery to náměstí Míru, where we will end the circuit through the historic center of Vrchlabí
