Hike from Strážné along the Silesian Trail

From the parking lot, we go along the red hiking route. We climb about half a kilometer through the forest, before the first nice panorama of Hříběcí bouda opens up to us. On the way up, we have a former quarry on the left, into which you can sometimes see.

Perhaps the least pleasant part of the entire hike awaits you now – a steep hill through the forest to Lahr's huts. Along the way, the only „interest“ is the Swedish Cross. When you have covered about 300 meters in height, you will reach the second picturesque meadow of this hike – Lahr's huts. There is also a nice view of Černá hora from here.

Across the meadows there is a really nice view of both Podkrkonoší and Černá hora.

Just as Pisa has its leaning tower, the Krkonoše mountains have their sloping hayloft.

There is only a small piece of forest between Lahr's huts and Přední Rennerovka. So we will have more views after a while. At the very top of the meadow, already at an altitude of 1,175m, the Rozhled mountain hut awaits us, where it is possible to have refreshments.

Now we have less than a kilometer of climbing through the forest before we can see the fourth and largest meadow on this path – Zadní Rennerovky.

The back Renners are really the most scenic part of this hike. It offers beautiful views of the region and several refreshment options in the local cottages.
