Trip to the gate to the Giant Mountains
Despite the fact that Jilemnice is only a small town not far from the Giant Mountains, it is worth stopping here and seeing the local sights or strengthening after a hike in the Giant Mountains. Here you will find not only a castle with a park, but also nice folk buildings and a picturesque square
Masaryk Square in Jilemnice
It is best to start the tour of Jilemnice on Masaryk Square with a fountain and statues. In one of the corners of the square is a distinctive building of the former savings bank (now the information center)
City Hall in Jilemnice
The dominant feature of Masaryk Square and the symbol of the city is a large town hall with a high tower.

A green oasis in Jilemnice is the chateau park, in the middle of which stands a picturesque chateau – today the seat of the Krkonoše Museum.

Another beautiful place in Jilemnice is Curious Alley full of timbered cottages. You will find it at the very western end of the city
