Salar near the volcano Ollagüe
Considering Bolivian Altiplano,Salar de Chiguana (3 700 m asl) is a relatively small salt plain measuring12×15km. It is surrounded by five thousand meters high volcanoes from all sides. Those coming here from salar de Uyuni usually do not even stop here, because they are already saturated with salty plains. However, if you come here from the other side, it is certainly worth at least a short stop. The view of the volcanoes behind the white plains is worth it.
