One of the most curious types of desert in the world is the salt flat – Salar. They are vast plains devoid of life, where the layer of salt can be up to several meters. They are the remains of prehistoric lakes or seas that have long since dried up. You can find them in several places in the world. The most famous, most beautiful and largest is located in Bolivia – Salar de Uyuni.
