Area Guadix

The district town of Guadix is at first sight like every other city in Andalusia. There is the Moorish alcazaba castle and the nice cathedral with the surrounding historic center. Tourists here are most attracted by the Barrio de Santiago with cave dwellings built in the tuft. Some of them can also accommodate. The beautiful backdrop also makes the ridge of the Sierra Nevada stretching only twenty kilometers to the south.
