Bernina is the highest mountain range in the Eastern Alps. There is also the only four thousand in the Eastern Alps – Piz Bernina (4,048 m above sea level). The mountains are located in Switzerland (the main point of St. Moritz) and Italy (the main point of Sondrio). Here you will find several beautiful glaciers and lakes. Both countries are connected by an alpine road with the famous Bernina Pass (2,328 m above sea level)
