One of the basic classic trips to the Bernina mountain range is to its eastern part. The basis is an exit by cable car to the Diavolezza station, from where you can easily climb to two three-thousand-meter peaks – Piz Trovat and Sass Queder. Then take a trip just a few kilometers next door to the Bernina Pass with its beautiful lakes. Finally, relax in picturesque Pontresina.

View of Bernina

About halfway between Pontresina and the lower station of the cable car, there are two bends in the road (just under a kilometer after the turn in the direction of the Morteratsch glacier) and from here there is a truly magnificent view of the Bernina massif. A beautiful start to the trip.
