The most powerful mountain range in Italy
In Italy you will find the highest mountain range of the Alps. Along with France, Italy also has the highest mountain in Europe – Mont Blanc (4,808m). Among the other four-thousand-thousander mountain ranges that fall at least partially in Italy are the Valais Alps (Nordend peak (4,609 m), the Gráj Alps (Gran Paradiso (4,061 m) and Bernina (only the insignificant peak of La Spedla (4,020 m) falls in Italy here). Other high Italian mountain ranges are the Ortles, the Kotti Alps and the Ötztal Alps.
