The Kotti Alps lie between Italy and France. At first glance, it doesn't belong to a particularly high mountain range – most of the peaks are between 2 and 3 thousand meters above sea level. The highest mountain of the mountain range – Monte Viso (3,841 m) acts as a revelation, which exceeds all the surrounding peaks by several hundred meters and, thanks to this, makes this mountain range one of the highest in Italy.
