Area Ortles
The beautiful mountains of the Eastern Alps
Ortles is the second highest mountain range in the Eastern Alps. The highest peak is Ortler (3,905m asl), followed by nearly one hundred of three thousanders. You will also find the largest glacier of the East Alps – Ghiaciao dei Forni. Most of this mountain range is situated in the Stelvio National Park.
