The Czech Republic as an inland country is not a classic bathing destination. However, the inhabitants love summer swimming, so there is a recreational area with a campsite and the possibility of swimming by almost every larger pond, lake or dam. Particularly popular are flooded quarries, especially sand quarries, where there is clear water even in summer.
