Paradise of romantics and tramps
Kokořínsko and Mácha region is a relatively large tourist area north of Mělník. Its center belongs to the protected landscape area Kokořínsko – Mácha region. From the south it is bordered by the largest Czech river Labe. From the east of river Jizera. In the north stretches a massive Ještěd ridge, which significantly exceeds the whole area. Kokořínsko is famous for its rock lids, but there is much more. Sandstone rocks and caves, dark ravines, important castles and scenic hills
