Not to be a royal castle at the top, Velký Bezděz (604m above sea level) would be just one of the many volcanic peaks of the Ralská Highlands, although very distinctive and beautiful. Anyway thanks to the castle there is a great tourist traffic. If you want a little more peace of mind, go to his „little brother“ Malý Bezděz (577 m above sea level), which is right next to you.
