Trip to Jestřebické pokličky
Vojtěšský důl connects the picturesque village of Vojtěchov with Jestřebice. Thanks to the interesting Jestřebický lids, this route is often added to the circuits around the Kokořín region. Apart from the steep ascent to the lids, the way down the hill is comfortable, also suitable for prams – but there is also a cycle path.
Vojtechov
From Vojtěchov, which lies around the main road leading through Kokořínský dol, we follow a green tourist path. Along the way there are several nice cottages, the last of which is probably the most beautiful.
Turning to the lids
After about ten minutes walking through the forest, you will reach a shelter, from where a steep turn leads up the slope.
Steep ascent
The ascent is really steep, overcoming the roots of conifers. The complete opposite of the otherwise comfortable journey through Vojtěšský dol
Jestřebické lids
Finally you are on a plateau with a great view of the Jestřebické lids. The place is not as breathtaking as Pokličky, but there are almost no people here.
The birth of lids
The second rock is rather still in development.
Bivouac next to the lids
Right next to the rocks is a large flat plot, ideal for a bivouac. A small fireplace suggests that someone has already thought of it.
Caves and rock overhangs
The journey further through Vojtěšský dol is not so interesting. At the end, just before Jestřebice, however, there are several caves and rock overhangs
Cross in Jestřebice
At the cross in Jestřebice, a cycle path continuing to Dobřeň is separated
Jestřebice
In Jestřebice you will find a lot of nice timbered cottages. And where to continue from here? You can continue along the blue back to Kokořínské dol or on a longer hike through Šemanovický dol
