About 1.5 km south-southeast of Konstantinovy lázně is Hradišťský kopec, around which stretches the Hradištský vrch nature reserve with an area of 8.5 ha. A beautiful natural swimming pool in the flooded quarry Hradištský vrch.

Flooded quarry

If you set out from Konstantinovy lázně along the nature trail to the south, after about 1 km you will come across a beautiful place – the flooded basalt quarry Hradištský vrch. Basalt mining took place here from the end of the 19th century until 1997. The place became a famous natural swimming pool with a romantic environment and a sandy beach.

Natural swimming pool

Today, the flooded quarry with an area of about 12 hectares serves as a natural swimming pool, to which strong basalt columns make a beautiful backdrop. The depth of the lake is 14 meters. The water in the lake is extremely clean and many freshwater fish and other animals live here. The swimming pool is organized, there is a maintained sandy beach and a snack bar. Admission is charged. Dogs are not allowed

Lookout point "U borovice"

If you ascend above the flooded quarry, you will reach a place called „U borovice“ and stand below the top of a 632 m high hill. Above you are the remains of an extensive prehistoric fortified settlement with an area of 50 ha. There is a visible protective wall with five breaches, where the gates used to be. Hradiště is a national cultural monument.
