Castle of the Lažanský family
Manětín Chateau is located in the town of Manětín in the northern part of the Plzeň-sever district and is connected with the Lažanský family.

The castle is located in the middle of the city next to the main road. It is possible to park around the castle. The chateau acquired its current appearance through a Baroque reconstruction under Václav Josef Lažanský and his wife Maria Gabriela in 1712.
Manětín Chateau
The Lažanský family lived in Manětín and owned it with the adjacent settlements for more than 300 years until the end of World War II, when their property was confiscated.
