Hiking circuits & Trekking

Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

You can go directly from Leh to the interior of the Ladakh Mountains. There are several interesting options for walks just outside the city. In addition, you can walk through the mountains to the Nubra Valley in several days. Far more often, however, tourists look for treks and ascents in the Stok Mountains south of Leh. Ascent to Nanga Sago: One of the more distant one-day marches from Leh is an interesting ascent to Mount Nanga Sago (5,776 m above sea level). Trek via Lasermo la: classic trek to the Nubra valley via the Lasermo la saddle (5,150 m above sea level) Trek via Digar la: interesting crossing to the Shyok river valley via Digar la (5,420 m above sea level) Alcohol with several different variants. Trek and ascent to Stok Kangri: a relatively simple 6,000-meter peak within reach of Leh and generally probably the most popular ascent in Ladakh
