The wooden Orthodox cathedral in Karakol is considered its greatest monument. The church itself has quite a turbulent history. His predecessor was destroyed by an earthquake and was later confiscated by the Bolsheviks. It is now after reconstruction. It boasts five golden domes, a green roof and, most importantly, a beautiful wooden structure.
