Ollagüe volcano (5 868 m asl) is one of high volcanoes on the volcanic Chilean-Bolivian border. Thanks to the smokey fumarole field a short distance from the top and relatively nice cone it is one of the easily identifiable peak lying just a short distance from the huge salar de Uyuni. Almost to its top leads a dusty small road heading to the former quarry.
