The last of the castles in Oberschleissheim is the hunting lodge Lustheim, built in 1684 for the engagement of Max Emanuel with Maria Antonia, daughter of the Austrian Emperor Leopold I. The chateau has always been used only for rest. At present, it houses one of the largest collections of Meissen porcelain.
