Lesser known valley in the Karwendel area

From the town of Pertisau, located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Achensee, you can take beautiful trips to the Karwendel Alpine region. Take the toll road to the more famous Falzthurntal valley or to the smaller and less visited Gerntal, which also offers nice views and hiking opportunities.

Road to the east
Most hikers or cyclists head east from there to Plumssattel (1,669 m above sea level), which is 3 kilometers away and over 500 meters above sea level.
