Achensee and beautiful valleys near Pertisau
The Karwendel is a beautiful limestone mountain range north of Innsbruck and north of the Inn Valley. The eastern part of the mountains ends at the beautiful Lake Achensee, from where you can head to the scenic Falzthurntal and Gerntal valleys. The most important peak in this area is the beautiful mountain Sonjoch, which you can also try to conquer if you set aside an extra day.
