Parque del Buen Retiro

Parque del Buen Retiro, briefly known as El Retiro, is the original royal park, which fortunately now serves the general public. The park is really large full of ponds, monuments, playgrounds and sports fields. In the center of the park is a huge lake on which boats run, and above everything rises a huge monument to King Alfonso XII. You can walk here in half an hour or spend the whole day here
