Ostruženský rybník is the largest pond in the vicinity of Jičín. It is located west of the city in the valley of Malý Porák. Mostly there are a lot of water birds to see here. There are also nice views from the dam. It is part of the natural monument Ostruženské rybníky. Already outside the protected area in the valley next to the flowing Velký Porák you will find another five ponds
