Large circuit through Prachovské skály 2

From Hlaholská vyhlídka, which we described in the first part of this trip, it is only a few tens of meters to the crossroads Nad Císařskou chodbou. Here we connect for a while to the route of the Small Circuit along Prachovské skaly, so the density of visitors is increasing here. A small walk is a turn to the beautiful viewpoint of Peace.

From the Míru viewpoint, it is a short distance to the U Buku crossroads, where we leave the Small Circuit and begin, still on the green, to descend into the American slut. View back to the stairs

One of the biggest attractions of the American Slug is a large fallen rock block. You will then see another one on this circuit

The passage through the center of the American Slug is quite interesting

At the entrance to the American sluice there is also a large memorial plaque to the tourism promoter – Vojta Náprstek

After passing the American Stable, such a small circuit awaits you in the form of an ascent to the Leaning Tower and a walk through the New Gorge. A narrow staircase leads to the Leaning Tower and there is little space on the lookout itself, so there may be quite a rush

The Leaning Tower is the only viewpoint in Prachovské skaly from where you can see into the Jičín Basin

However, the most beautiful view is on Veliš and Ostruženský pond

From the Leaning Tower, the walk continues through the picturesque New Gorge. You will be back on the main route in a moment

From the New Gorge the journey continues along with the red mark to Fortna

Finally you come to Fortny, a narrow cold rock gorge with a half-fallen rock block. From Fortny, a longer ascent to the Prachovské skal plateau awaits you

After you ascend to the Nad Fortnou crossroads, a moment awaits you from the sandstone towers, the path continues for several hundred meters through the forest in the direction of Pechova vyhlídka. Along the way you will pass a place with lots of rock men

Pech's view is nice especially in the afternoon. It's the last attraction on this circuit, so enjoy it

The ascent to Pechova vyhlídka is the most demanding and longest in Prachovské skaly. If you go according to our schedule, in the end you will just descend from it in the direction of a tourist cottage
