If you set out on the famous Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise, the passage of the Prachovské Rocks awaits you. If you follow only this main red-marked route, Křížkovského lookout and a passage through the famous Imperial Corridor await you here. Since the entrance to the rocks is charged (in season), it is worth widening the passage of the rocks, at least by a small circuit or bypassing the rocks along the yellow and then the blue hiking trail, if you already know them

Prachovské sedlo

The crossing of Prachovské skal begins in the flat Prachovské sedlo above the village of Prachov. You can get here from Jičín along three possible hiking trails. In addition, there is a bus stop or parking lot. Basically, it is the second main entrance to the rocks

Monuments of the Prussian-Austrian War

At Prachovské sedlo you will find three monuments to the Prussian-Austrian war of 1866

Road to the rocks

From Prachovské sedlo we continue along the red road to the Pod Brankou crossroads – here it is possible to turn to the yellow road, bypass the rocks and not pay for entry. The reds continue on to the collector's booth (they are here from April to October). In a few hundred meters you are at the first rocks

U Křížkovského vyhlídky

Above the stairs is a relatively wide plot with benches, so an ideal option for refreshments

View of Veliš

Not far from Křížkovského vyhlídka there is a view to the other side – to Veliš and Jičín basin

Křížkovského prospect

You will climb the rocks around the historical educational board and you are at the Křížkovského lookout

View of the region

Křížkovského's view is not on the rocks, as might be expected, but on the wider region. The closest are Jinolické ponds and then, for example, the hill Tábor, Trosky or on the horizon Ještěd

Resting place

From Křížkovského vyhlídka, the path leads comfortably through the highest parts of Prachovské skal. You will pass an interesting resting place and then you will get to the sightseeing tours of Prachovské skal, so there will be a significant increase in tourists.

Glagolitic prospect

Our red tourist path is joined by a green one along which the Great Circuit leads through Prachovské skály. It pays to go here a few tens of meters and visit the Hlaholská viewpoint

Passage through the Imperial Corridor

Now our route leaves the Great Circuit and now we will go to the tourist hut along the route of the Small Circuit. In front of us is one of the most impressive places in the Prachovské Rocks – the Imperial Corridor.

Crossroads Zadní Točenice

After passing the Imperial Corridor, you are in another beautiful place – at the crossroads of Zadní Točenice, the largest crossroads in Prachovské skaly. From here it is only a few hundred meters to the tourist hut. From here, the Golden Trail continues past the Pelíšek swimming pool, Pařez Castle to Mladějov
