Place Mooserboden Dam
Gigantic dam above Kaprun
High above the famous resort of Kaprun you will find two gigantic dams. The Mooserboden dam, located above and very photogenic, is one of the most interesting places in the Hohe Tauern. It consists of two dams Moosersperre and Drossensperre, which are separated by the lookout hill Höhenburg (2,112 m above sea level). You can reach the dams on hiking trails or by bus from a place called Kessefall Alpenhaus in an interesting way through endless tunnels.
