Place Lake Schliersee
A lake with a picturesque island
Lake Schliersee is one of several beautiful lakes in the Bavarian Alps. In the middle of the lake you can also find the picturesque island of Wörth. The starting point for the lake is the town of the same name Schliersee in the north and Neuhaus in the south. There is a nice cycle path around the entire lake. From the lake, you can go to Hohenwaldeck Castle, for example.
Most accommodation options are on the north side of the lake, right in the town of Schliersee and its surroundings. An interesting option are the beautiful Seeheimat Ferienwohnungen apartments with a view of the lake and a private beach
