Mountain surrounded by glaciers

Hochwernagtspitze (3,535 m above sea level) is the thirteenth highest mountain in Austria and the ninth in the Ötztal Alps. It is practically entirely surrounded by massive glaciers such as the Taschferner, Vernagtferner and others. The tourist path does not lead to the top, so more experienced climbers or ski mountaineers head for it.
