Ascent to Kralický Sněžník
The Kralický Sněžník Mountains are the second smallest mountain range in the Czech Republic with an area of 76 km. On the other hand, its peak of the same name Kralický Sněžník 1424 m above sea level is one of the highest mountains in the Czech Republic. The area has a lot to offer. Because we are in the zone of the Czech Maginot Line. Where the visitor can get his money's worth, even if a military event called Cihelna is held here every year. We will ascend to Kralický Sněžník along the so-called line, which is along the border bollards with Poland.
Rabbits
The beautiful picturesque town is the gateway to this mountain range.
Hůrka Artillery Fortress
Our first stop at the Fortress. There are countless of these Czechoslovak fortifications in the area. Because in 1938 the German border reached as far as Ostrava. After 1945, Germany lost much of its territory.
In the hallways
We are already located 50 meters underground in Hůrka.
Shot down artillery fortress
The German Third Reich tested their conquests on these fortresses, as well as super-secret weapons. But even those did not cross the 3 meter thick wall.
View of the Mountains
On the left, Klepáč our first goal on the first day and in the middle on Kralický Sněžník.
Night on soft
Sleeping on the line. Beautiful on the soft.
Line
What goes a lot is Line. It is a very popular tourist route. Which he evaluates according to the strength of the beaten path. Because during our trip we met 3 people on Sněžník. And the kiosk is here at every step in the form of blueberries. The silence here is blessed.
Klepáč also Klepý
Mountain (roof) of two seas. From here, all rivers flow on our side into the Black Sea, from the Polish side then into the Baltic Sea. The Poles have it as the Trinity Mountain, which still mentions the North Sea.
Border
Nature on the border is very variable. It's not boring
View back to the Rabbits
Below the top of Kralický Sněžník and its beautiful view of the surroundings.
Historical bollard
Three-border bollard of Bohemia, Moravia and Kladsko.
Kralický Sněžník
Remains of a lookout tower that was blown up in the late 1970s. It is a pity that nothing has been built here in 40 years.
View of the Rychlebské Mountains and the Jeseníky Mountains
In front of us a beautiful panoramic view of the Rychlebské Mountains and the Jeseníky Mountains, where the mountain Praděd can be seen on the horizon.
Refreshment on the Hill
Very nice stop and those blueberry dumplings. So you are. :-)
Evening Kralický Sněžník
The second night was breathtaking. What more could you want and more to say. For me, the two brightest objects are the planets of our solar system for me.
