Swimming in Divoká Orlica

A small Pastviny dam is built on the Divoká Orlice river due to the production of electricity and also as protection against floods. Thanks to it, the area is used for recreation, despite the fact that most of it falls into the Orlice Nature Park. The center of the area is the town of the same name Pastviny, where there is a large parking lot serving not only tourists but also those who want to bathe here.
North of the bridge
From the car park in Pastviny, continue down the road until you reach the bridge over the dam. If you want a calmer bathing atmosphere, do not cross the mos, stay on the east bank of the dam and descend along the way to the bay just a little north of the bridge

From the bridge there is a beautiful view on both sides of the dam. Previously, there must have been a very nice valley framed by rocks.

Bridge over the Pastviny dam
There is only one bridge over the dam 354 meters long. It is on a busy road connecting Žamberk with Králíky.

Beach at Sekyří

It lives on water sports in Pastviny. There is a rental of pedal boats, kayaks, boats.

Inn by the bridge
At the dam there are many options for refreshments. Probably the best known, however, is Hostinec u mostu. Other swimming possibilities are: Petrův palouk and Šlechtův palouk at the southern end of the dam
