Ascent to the ski jump near Lomnice
Adventure lookout tower near Lomnice nad Popelkou
One of the most interesting lookout towers in the Czech Republic is a ski jump in the winter area near Lomnice nad Popelkou. The top of the local highest ski jump was upgraded to a great lookout tower in Lomnice, the Giant Mountains and the Jizera Mountains. The ascent is the ascent of the endless stairs. Beware of those who are afraid of heights. Admission is also free
Under the ski jump
The area of ski jumps is located only about two kilometers from the center of Lomnice nad Popelkou in the direction of the settlement Dráčov. There are three parking lots. Alternatively, you can walk here along a green hiking trail connecting a nice sightseeing circuit around Košov with Lomnice. Right at the beginning you can see what awaits you for a nice climb
Exit stairs
In the first phase, you will have to climb a set of five stairs. For some, avoiding it can be annoying because the railing is only on one side of the stairs
Hilltop
Finally you are at the top of the hill and you can relax for a while before you jump to the final ascent
Under the lookout tower
We are now in places where weaker characters end their ascent when they see what awaits them. A staircase leads to the top through which it can be seen down, and it definitely doesn't do people dizzy
Observation deck
Take the iron stairs to the penultimate floor and then follow the large greenery right next to the downhill run to the observation deck. Like you don't understand the jumpers going down from it when you see it and this is no mammoth bridge

To the east is a view across the meadows to Lomnice nad Popelkou hiding in the valley and to Černá hora on the horizon
View of the Giant Mountains
The north is dominated by the Giant Mountains ridge on the horizon. Basically, you have the whole Podkrkonoší in the palm of your hand
View of Kozákov and Ještěd
To the west you can see the continuation of the Kozák ridge and on the horizon you can also see the famous Ještěd
