Admission to the Huascaran National Park is collected in Cashapampa at the beginning of the trek Santa Cruz. Therefore, if you arrange transport up to the village Conay, you do not have to pay for entrance.

You had better to buy food already in Huaraz, since other and limited possibilities to buy something is at the beginning of the trek in Conay and then at the end in Pomabamba.
