Area Lower Mustang

Tourists a bit neglect or even omit this area located on both banks of the Kali Gandaki river after the finish of a dusty road to Jomsom. However, there are stunning views of eight thousand high Dhaulagiri, Tukuche or Nilgri. Kali Gandaki is also proud of the fact that it's basically the deepest valley in the world, even if it really does not seem so at first sight. North is extremely arid and ends with buddhist village of Kagbeni. Further to the north begins landscape of Upper Mustang, to which, unfortunately, you need special and expensive permit. The more to the south, the greener the area is.
