You will appreciate the massiveness of Khatungkang when looking from Lower Mustang. From Manang side it looks just like a white peak towering above the surrounding arid landscape. Also from Thorong la pass itself it is not very well visible, because the view is obstructed by Thorong peak (6 144 m asl), which is basically its pre-peak.
