Generally, there are fewer rainfalls here than in other parts of Nepal thanks to the monsoon shield. So there is significantly better chance of good weather than elsewhere, even out of high season.
Overcrowding

- The tourists finishing the trek around Annapurnas mostly walked through the area. After the appearance of the road it changed and increased tourism is only around Muktinahu, Jomsom and Marpha, where tourists from the circuit around Dhaulagiri connect.
- Even locals prefer bus services, so it is possible walk in peace today. However, if you do not count the occasional dust clouds caused by jeeps and buses.
