Article Hike Chhusang – Kagbeni

We leave Chhusang. Kali Gandaki river bed is here very broad. Although it does not seem at first glance, but in places where water currently flows it has relatively strong current. But water changes its position of flow from time to time.
 

After a short steep descent is the entrance to Kagbeni. It is necessary to go through the checkpoint again. Any delay from the standard 10 days allowed for the entrance to Upper Mustang costs 50 USD for each extra day.
 

In Kagbeni join the pathways of two treks: through Upper Mustang and around Annapurnas. In August, so in the monsoon season, there are not many tourists. And so we have the town and its streets almost to ourselves.

We get over Kagbeni. We sit at the stone chorten and our views are heading back to the north to places, where we spent unforgettable days in Upper Mustang.
