The construction of the concrete lookout tower began in 1934 on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Podřipská Agricultural Reserve. According to the founder of the association, Václav Kratochvíl, it also got its name. After climbing 49 steps to the viewing platform at a height of 13 meters above the ground, you will have a view to the north of the Czech Central Mountains and the town of Roudnice itself with a picturesque castle.
