Trip to Calvary Sharp
Great view of Úštěk
At the very western end of the Kokořín region you will find the picturesque town of Úštěk and only a few kilometers above it the settlement of Ostrá. From here you can take a short but very nice walk to the hill Calvary (398m above sea level) on which rises a beautiful Baroque Calvary with an amazing view of the region
Keen
The starting point for this walk is the settlement of Ostrá. You will find a few parking spaces here. In front of you is only less than half a kilometer walk and about 35 meters high
The Way of the Cross
Along the ascent path there is a Stations of the Cross with descriptions, so even the less versed in the Bible can learn a lesson.
View of Úštěk
Finally, you are at the first „balcony“ lookout under the top stairs. You have the historical Úštěk in the palm of your hand.

In front of you is the last stage, ascend a long staircase to the center of this baroque gem

At the top you will find two identical chapels and between them a tomb
Amazing view of the region
From the top of the stairs is a great view of the region. It is dominated by the Sedlo peak (726 m above sea level), which is the highest peak in the Bohemian Central Mountains on the right side of the Elbe

The view of other parts of the world is no longer so good. Through a small window in the vegetation, you will see the mighty Vlhošť
