Cerro Tunupa (5 321 m asl) is a mountain of salar de Uyuni. It is visible almost from everywhere. It's a type of volcano, which had lost almost its entire cone thanks to the massive explosion It now abounds with all the colors and there is a quite interesting view of it. If you plan the ascents on the Altiplano, it's an interesting acclimatization mountain. For tourists, however, only pre-summit (5 166 m asl) is easily accessible as the main peak is sharp rock on the other side of the crater.
